“ Wide selection of cigars and beverages available, keep in mind there is no food. Prices as you would expect at any bar keep in mind you have to buy a drink while you are there. Location is fantastic, in the heart of the city and very lively during the weekends, with a lovely view of the streets on the balcony seating. Lots of seating options whether its a booth, on the balcony or in the center tables with large comfortable sofas. Overall the presentation of the lounge is very pleasant, and moody. Staff is helpful and accomodating. Overall a great place. ”

“ Our experience at Stogies Cigar Bar in Montreal didn’t start off on the best note. It was our first time in the city, and as always, my priority when traveling is to find a good cigar lounge. Upon arrival, I was initially hesitant – the bar’s appearance was somewhat uninviting, and I almost reconsidered going in. However, I noticed a sign indicating that the lounge was upstairs, so I decided to give it a chance. Once I reached the second floor, the atmosphere gave off a speakeasy vibe, with a sense of privacy that I appreciated. I was asked if I had a reservation, which I didn’t, and was given what seemed like the worst table on the terrace. Seeing several better, unoccupied tables, I voiced my concern and was close to leaving. Thankfully, the situation took a turn for the better when they reassigned us to a much better table. Our server promptly took our drink orders and, upon bringing them, invited me to visit the cigar humidor. I found it interesting that in Canada, they cover the cigar bands with a black band, preventing you from seeing the brand. They also offered to cut the cigar and bring it to my table, which I appreciated. The Cuban cigar selection was excellent, something I especially value as they’re not available in the U.S. The atmosphere in the bar was enjoyable, though there was a noticeable male-dominated presence with few women around. I did like the uniforms worn by the waitresses, which added a touch of style to the setting. However, the drinks were underwhelming – they lacked alcohol. My wife had three Moscow Mules and barely cracked a smile. In the end, I enjoyed the experience, and despite the rocky start, I would recommend Stogies to fellow cigar lovers. The cigar selection, ambiance, and overall service made up for the initial hiccup. ”

Both indoor and outdoor seating on the second level great views for people watching, TVs, very comfortable couches, can smoke indoors and outdoors, excellent drinks and a well stocked humidor.
